- School Activity on Fairy-tale : Fairy and Dwarf Workshop in Castle le Rivau.
Between a castle that seems out of a princess and prince tale and garden inspired by fairy-tale and legends, school groups will discover different fairy-tale and mythical being while having fun. Kids can also wear knight and princess ‘costumes and will learn sword fighting after having listen to a tale told by an animator.

- School Activity on life in the middle ages : Every day life in a castle at the time of the Beauvau.
Inside the medieval castle le Rivau, school groups wearing knight and princess’ costume will discover the Middle Ages everyday life and the education of the noble man of the time. Children will learn sword fighting and calligraphy. For Kids from 8 to 12 years old.

- School Activity on Garden and Nature : the secret garden.
In the farytale gardens of le Rivau, labelled Remarquable Garden, school groups will learn how to respect and to know nature better. This will be followed by a creative workshop. .

Learning booklet for teachers to prepare the school trip

Thanks to learning booklets given by Chateau le Rivau, teachers will be able to prepare the school groups for the school trip. We provide teachers with information on the history of the medieval castle Rivau, and teaching booklets on fairytale and on the different plants in the gardens.
